Having just stumbled upon this site, I'm eager to learn if there are any w113 members in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I purchased a one owner red 1965 230SL while serving in the US Army in Giessen, Germany. It is a Euro model. I bought the car in 1970. I drove the car as my primary vehicle for six years until marriage and children. It then became a Sunday's and special occasions vehicle. The car has a sat in my garage for the past few years and never driven. I'm now at the point in my life where I would like to get it running again and pass it on to my daughter. I would welcome any suggestions of a knowledgeable and reasonably priced service technician in the area to contact. Thanks in advance for your help.
