Heater Blower harness : question ?
« on: March 29, 2010, 01:52:07 »
Can somebody tell me what is the purpose and where should be connected the third connector of the heater / Blower harness ?

See the picture attached ... I know that :

- The left connector goes to the Blower
- The middle connector goes to the blower command
- I don't know what is for and where the connect the third one on the right . ?

Thanks ???

I think you are absolutely right ... Thanks a lot ....

now my big unknown is how do I connect this Harness connector with my clock ... (see picture attached) ... do I need to find a "male" connector to get into the harness connector ? (see picture)

Any idea where I can source both : the clock bracket and the connector.
Does anybody has a picture of the clock bracket ?

On my car the connector plugs right into the back of the clock.  The clock in your picture does not look right to me.

The clock in the picture is a w114/w115, If the diameter fits in a Pagoda all you need to get is the positive to the flat connector, the screw mounts are the ground.

You may want to wire the light bulb to the wire that is for the dash lights. Just put your tester on the pins until you find the wire that energizes with the headlight switch[dash lights] and wire that to your bulb in the clock. I strongly advise against cutting or splicing into the existing car wiring. Keep it so you can later wire in a correct clock if ever desired. Try to find a connector from your old clock or something that hooks to the plug in your car without cutting wires.
