connecting pin 7 of transistorized ignition

I need to know where to connect pin 7 of the original transistorized ignition to. It's the yellow/green wire...  ???
In the w108-w113 book the only schematics of the transistorized ignition is for the 3,5 liter engine, which uses this wire for a sensor for the D-Jet on the distributor...

Also the condensor I got for the distributor (062) has 2 wires. Is the 2nd ground?

Terminal 7 on the controll box goes to a two terminal junction box under the battery. it hooks to the green point condensor lead, the ground hooks to the other screw on the juncton block. the timing controll switching box also hooks up to this junction block, this is where it gets its RPM signal. there should also be a brass lug on the terminal 7 screw. This is where to hook up a dwell meter when setting the points.

One last question; I noticed on this site a wiring diagram for the US 280sl in which the transistorized ignition is wired differently as the diagram for the D jetronic models I was using.

Is it correct that terminal 1 of the coil is connected directly to ground on the 280sl US?
