Heater lever unit light bulbs - where to buy?
« on: August 10, 2009, 13:31:16 »
With the help of the excellent posting on the site, I successfully completed the removal of the healter unit and have replaced the busted levers. I had ordered some replacement bulbs from Miller's in anticipation of this project, but found out they were the wrong size...perhaps they sent me the ones that go behind the speedo or tach. The old bulbs I took out of the unit are 12V/2W bayonnette-style, but are very tiny and have writing on them, "Dr. G Fischer". Can anyone tell me a US supplier that stocks these bulbs or a MBZ part # (or vendor part #) that I can use? Thanks!

The Mercedes dealer should have them in stock.

Mercedes part number 072601 012800. Most dealer's will not
have stock on this item but it is available to be ordered. MB
USA suggested list $3.60. I have stock at $2.21.

Thanks, all. I think I got shipped the B9's instead of the B7's. That's OK. while I have the dash pulled apart, why not change the speedo and tach bulbs, right? Really appreciate the help.
