is there a way to view the photos in a format larger than the thumbnail that appears on posts?

Just click on it and it will increase to its full size.
Click again and the thumbnail is back.
If you want to save the large picture "right click" on it with your mouse.

Has your browser got Javascript enabled? It won't work if it hasn't.
If does have, clear your cookies for sl113.org
Note that this does not work for the thumbnails above posts, only for attachments in posts.
