Both 1088 and 1079 are Leather colors from 230/250s..
1088 is Light Red and 1079 is Red.
243 is a trim code for 280 , which used Light Red 3001.
As you have painted Silver , which would be 180 paint,
you may want to go with Leather code Red 3000, which would be the correct 242 trim code for 180 paint on 280 series.
The light red 3001 [ trim 243] did not come with 180 paint on 280s.
 0188 and 1079 of 130/250 are close to 3000 and 3001 of 280.

A Dalton,

The two samples from GAHH I have in 1088 and 1079 are Roser leather, and are very smooth, with little texture. The 243 leather sample from GAHH is much more textured, and has a more "leathery" look, if that is possible. Which one was more widely used by M/B, or the better choice?? Any opinions as to which you prefer?

If you need any kind of Interior for your 113 chassis you should check out http://www.convertibletopsonline.com. Go to the "seat cover" section and there you will find all interiors for any MBZ. I believe the prices there are more reasonable.
