Paint shop in Houston TX?
« on: January 04, 2009, 20:39:54 »
Hello,
Does anyone know of a paint/body shop in Houston that knows our cars? I am starting my reseach on a full paint job. There is some body work to be done so the company must be able to do body work accurately. Could be 8 months before I send it in.

Now if I can convince my wife that the painting is a safer investment then the 401k ;D

Thanks
Maistran

Hi and Happy new Year!

We are a small Classic Car restoration company in England, concentrating more on body and paint work. We are just finishing a 250SL, to which we have done a great deal of body work. We are familiar with Pagodas and know where they rot and how to minimise such rot in the future.
It's a shame we are not in Houston as we would love to take on such work!

Ever considered to move to England?!

With best wishes,

Neville Rollason

Hi Maistran:

I just had my hard top restored at James Bidison's.  He has done an excellent job (Paint looks great). He knows our cars like the back of his hand. He also works on other MB classics.

Contact me off line and I will give you his info.

PS. He is not cheap.

I can also vouch for James Bidison...  he's slow as Christmas and can be expensive, but he does extraordinary work and REALLY knows 113's.

his # is:  (713) 686-2550  and company is JSI Auto
