Luggage Hold Down Strap
« on: January 01, 2009, 18:39:30 »
Does anyone in the club have the original leather "Luggage Hold Down Strap" that fits to trunk.  I want to fabricate one and need dimensions and a photo of what the medal end pieces look like that attaches to trunk clips.
Thanks,
Have a Happy New Years.

Hi Bob -

You might want to consider contacting Oliver Dare [olliedare@hotmail.com] who can manufacture a very high quality luggage strap for you for a very reasonable price.

I'll post a photo of mine this afternoon.  I bought it on eBay a few years ago, so I cannot attest to it being authentic (caveat emptor on eBay).  I like it though.

Houser and Doug,
Thanks for you information.  I have tried to contact these two people but in vain.  No replies.  Do you have any other info, i.e. phone numbers or new e-mail addresses.  Also is there any other members out there that has info on these luggage straps?
Thanks,
Bob
