Getting ready to install the wood bow. The question that I have, is it better to install the windshield or the bow first?

Install the wood first. Less chance of damage to dash upholstery with the studs from the wood bows. If you decide to install windshield first, slid a small piece of hose over the stud to pervent damage to dash. Remember "Patience is a virtue"

I agree 100%. If installed after windshield install, protect the dash, I used cardboard and spare leather scraps.

The driver's side was a challenge with windshield in. Do not forget the little aligning pad between the bows. Helps a lot...

Are you referring to the three spacers that was between the bow and top of dash?

To the little flat plate between the bows, the one in the middle.

If you don’t have the spacer, you can make it out of felt material
