Cees, is your clock still available? I'm a clockmaker, but not experienced yet with the VDO clock in our cars (although I repaired mine, but that did not require disassembling).  I would like to have one to take apart and reassemble and learn to know it in the process.

Hi Pawel
Me again.. looking to work on my old clock.. the article you posted is amazingly helpful.. bit.. there are a few “fig” pictures missing.. the cleaning of the points.. and,the you tube link seems not to be working.. I know it’s an old post but… your advice and guidance are second to none.. that’s why I tend to follow it..
I wonder if I could find the YouTube thing on my own.. I did try.. but, there is nothing there that is really comprehensive enough..

Indeed, the video from the link in the pdf document is no longer available... I do not have it downloaded I am afraid.

There are multiple videos on you tube if you put "servicing (or repair) of VDO kienzle clock" or alike, but not that one. Sorry I cannot help more...
