Part number 1136200113

Hi would any one have or know where I can get this part please before I attempt to  repair mine . Hope I have the right part number but just in case  A post L/h outer . Mercedes have none thanks

It's the outer A pillar that the door is mounted to. Not an easy job to cut that out of a car and weld it back in. Windshield, door and fender would need to be removed first.

If it is rusted at the bottom it can be repaired.  That would be a really hard one to change and keep the door alignment.

The car is at the stage where this will not be that difficult it's not rusty . It helps having been the owner of a sheet metal company for 25 years and having done similar works on my bj8 . Finding out what the previous owner had done was the biggest challenge . It's been interesting to say the least . A brief explanation and a few photos in the general discussion section at a later date when finished may be of interest to some . I must add without this forum and YouTube I would be in a psychiatric ward by now
