What temperature should be stamped on my 280 SL thermostat? The shop manual says that it opens around 80 degrees Celsius and that is what's stamped on mine, but my Haynes 230, 250, 280 Manual says it should have 87 C stamped on it. Incorrect for summer conditions, right?

For what it is worth, my 230 SL's thermostat says 80 C.
