What Car Is This Car Jack From
« on: February 28, 2024, 14:42:18 »
Could you help me determine what car is this car jack from? It is very similar to early Pagoda jacks, but the ratchet is different. Similar markings, same manufacturer - earlier version??

If you could measure the diameter of the shaft that goes into the jack port on the car I might have your answer.

Thank you WRe and Benz Dr.

This shaft is exactly like the ones we have for early Pagodas.

However...

I spent hours last night trying to help my friend and I grew a suspicion. I do not have a good picture of the top of this jack. My suspicion is that someone lost or broke original ratchet. Then they welded a short bar into the hole in the top of the threaded piece that fit some other ratchet they had thus ruining the original jack.

I let my friend know about it and asked him to check it.

So I am afraid it is all smoke and the jack is now a piece of junk.... sorry to bother you...

Hi,
I assume that this "Storz-part" doesn't belong to it. Storz was another manufaturer- beside Wahler - of car jacks.

Didnt someone post a pic of a similar jack where the shaft had snapped in half?  Maybe that person has the missing part to yours.
