Correct Setup for M130 Short Pump Fuel Lines?
« on: June 09, 2022, 19:37:10 »
Hi all,

I recently got my car back from a somewhat sketchy mechanic who tried to rebuild my short pump. The fuel pump has been restored and I am looking to fit it back in myself. It is a Bosch short pump with the part number 0 442 201 007.

One thing I have questions about is the return line from the injector pump. I have read that there must be a T join with one line going back to the tank and the other to the fuel pump? Or can I run the return straight back to the tank?

If there is no T, do I need a bleed screw for the pump, maybe run a line from that port somewhere?

Thanks very much

There should be a "T" that splits the return line to the fuel pump and the tank. See this link  https://www.sls-hh-shop.de/main/en/mercedes-230-280sl-w113-/47-fuel-tank  #141
