Garry, you will need 6 clamps for the vacuum line to the booster.  I recently replaced that line as well as the clamps.  I am assuming it isn't any different than the 230SL, one clamp at the exhaust manifold, one either side of the foot valve, one either side of the plastic fluid collector and one at the brake booster, for a total of six.

So just to confirm, 2 9mm clamps for the correct fit in the 280?

2 on each end of the heater matrix hoses (= 4)

I believe there are 4 more under the dash for the airbox drain pipes as well (but they don't show!!)

Have ordered from a fellow restorer in New Zealand.  Not going to do under the dash, that is just pushing correctness too far for me!!!
The photos by John "49er" are very originally correct and a fantastic resource and I suspect making many on the forum again look at what they have got or has been done over the last 40+ years.
