Ragtop Well Drain
« on: February 16, 2007, 12:42:49 »
I have a '66 230 sl which I'm saving from the depths.
I notices as I was replacing the rocker panels a plastic drain tube hanging down from the ragtop well, the drain tube dosen't seem to have an exit point. Is there a exit point location? Or did this danging drain tube just help in the process of rust?
Thanks, Barlow

As I remember, it goes into the wheel well.

Thank you, I'll try to look at a finished car to see the exact exit location and what is used for a gromet to hold the tube in place.

If you insert a thin long rod thru the drain hole. it should show up in the gap below the lower trim
