I'm quite sure the 4 wires on the #5 fuse lead to various loads that do not draw more current than the rated capacity, so shouldn't be a concern.   You mentioned measuring 12.7 volts incoming to the fuse bank but didnt say how far this voltage drops while you are trying to crank the engine.  I think the amount of voltage drop while loaded by the cranking starter will be an important clue to the root cause of the issues you are seeing.

A list of what's working and what isn't would be really helpful
Yes, this.

backside of the fuse box, the #5 fuse has 4 wires attached to the output side. Isn't that little too much?

It is, actually 5 wires coming out of fuse 5. You have the wiring diagram, right?

More detailed description of what works what not would be helpful.

No Lights, No Hazard lights & side lights, no ignition buzzer, no starter. All in all, no instruments and no ignition. Other things like radio, speakers, heating, have been installed.

If there is no door open light and clock is not working - I would be looking in fuse box wiring or main ground, given the information on the voltage you provided.

Is the main ground wire properly screwed to wheel arch? I understand you have no cut off switch anywhere. Are the battery terminals properly fixed?

No other ideas...

When I had problems with power in my Wrangler, the negative battery cable was loose in the post clamp thing.  Clamp was tight on post, but cable still loose in clamp.

I had a lead clamp I overtightened that broke. You could barely see it was broken, but the contact was poor, the car died on the road.

Replaced both negative battery and main grounding cables. Have good lights and engine cranks over great. Now to replace one item at a time and check. Thanks to everyone on this thread for your patience and Pagoda knowledge, I definitely would be up the preverbal creek without a padel.
