Chrome part for my hard top

Hi folks
I’m mindful it’s highly unlikely anyone may have what I’m looking for, but if one doesn’t ask………

So, whilst starting to dismantle Bessie’s hard top, I had a slight, but disastrous, mishap. The chrome plate (not quite sure how to describe it) that has a nut holding it in place, sitting under the rear locking handle. Unfortunately the nut had seized onto the part and the thread sheared off in the nut!! Never knew I was that strong!!!!!

Suffice to say, I need a replacement, condition not a particular issue (albeit still with the screw thread 😱) as I’m getting some other parts re-chromed so will put into the batch.

… I’ve seen repro ones are available but rather keen to have an original as the quality seems to be better, albeit beggars can’t be choosers!

I just finished my hard top and had to replace several parts. I seem to recall that ebay had many parts available. Also check Authentic classics. While you are searching, look for the pins for the latch shaft. They make screw together ones that are way better than the originals.
