Soft top chrome strip
« on: May 08, 2023, 08:52:25 »
Hi
I’m just wondering.. did all models have a chrome strip above the rear window on the soft top? I know it’s nailed on.. which means it needs a wooden cross member in the frame ..
I have a very early SL230 .. would I originally of had one.. how would I know( without piercing the hood) if I have a wooden piece there?
I’m trying to find an old used one I can fiddle with..
