Thats only 120 mph and the car in front is from the 60's or 70's.
Is it that he could not pass him by?

Tom

That's a minimum of 130mph!  And maybe more when the camera is not on the speedo. I’m very impressed. But then again I only drive my 50 year old Benz up to 85 to 90mph. Maybe you (Tom) are used to taking old cars to 130MPH?  I know folks drive crazy in Boston  :)

I’ve been in a pagoda on the autobahn (in Achim’s 230sl) and he was taking it to 150+ KPH and that was impressive. I was going to miss a train to Paris, but we made it.

Looks like a 3.5 coupe to me. I imagine it could do 130 MPH.

I've only taken my Pagoda to 118 mph on the gps, too afraid of getting a ticket to go faster. Maybe if I ever get it on an unlimited Autobahn I can see what the top speed really is.

OZ
When I was in Germany to visit my son in 2004 ( He was at an employers Plant for training)
We were heading for Vienna on the autobahn and had a VW and I was moving above 135 mph
(Fastest I ever drove) and these Blondes in a M/B sports car passed us like we were standing still.

Also in 2013 again on the autobahn ( going to the 50th Anniversary) I rented a VW Diesel and tried to catch up to 2 280SL's
driving real fast (Do not remember the speed, but real fast) I could not catch them.

By the way, Boston drivers are crazy drivers ( That is why I do not drive there any longer) BUT you could not drive that fast.
Maybe on 495 heading to Cape Cod.You might pull it off.

I knew a German mechanic (Back when) who said to me that his 300SD Diesel could go 125 mph on 495.
That is how I found out how fast a 300SD Diesel could go. I only drove mine to 90 mph in Georgia coming home
from Florida fully loaded and Car parts on the roof.
