Mats for cars with Air Condtioning
« on: March 30, 2020, 16:31:05 »
Dear Forum
My original mat is much too large to fir under my ac and it has been folded over and looks horrible.  I have hat it cut and binded--but that looks bad too..

Does anyone have any images of their mats with the AC?
I have 139   bamboo 8011 and brown 8008--
If you have interior that matches mine that would be great

Cocomats and KHM have been recommended...

Strange.

I have an original mat with original Frigiking Airconditioning and it fits perfectly.
Is mounting of your Airconditioning correct?

If you have the larger blower it won't fit.

Hi Steven,
I have the same system, no mat problem, but I’m not aware that there are two different type of blowers.
If so, I have the standard system.
Pls find below the dimension of the standard right Pagoda mat in cm.

The larger blower is an aftermarket piece used when the air conditioner has been upgraded.

It happened on my car as well when the (aftermarket) AC was installed a bit too far back. Thus the blower motor would (almost) touch the firewall, which made it difficult for the passenger to put his/her foot underneath.
Solution: just move the underdash unit a bit forward. Mine is now aligned so that it's still possible to open the glovebox. And the feet fit underneath and it will still not bump against the knees.
