uncomfortable seats
« on: March 25, 2015, 05:16:40 »
I've had two shops rebuild my seats and they are still very uncomfortable. They followed the advise of pool noodles and/or adding more springs as recommended by Buds. They are still very uncomfortable. Who knows where I can ship these to be rebuilt properly and hopefully improved over the original. We all know the original seats were never that comfortable. Thanks for the advice of a reliable shop that can improve the seats and make them better than the original.

Well, if you believe that they "were never that comfortable", you could install more comfortable seats from another model.
How about Pontiac seats as this PO did?  ;D

Someone (think in Oz) a few years back put the seats from a W202 C class in his car. Very comfy seat.
Tom S had his seats rebuilt by Mechatronik in Germany and they are excellent.

I'm a pool noodle man, myself

Mechatronik in Germany have excellent new seats for Pagoda's. At the Technoclassica in Essen you can try them out. Tom S has them in his car. Very firm and comfortable.

What do these seats look like, who has a photo to post?
What kind of modifications are required?
