Windscreen Wiper Mechanism

The spindles that go through the housing bushes(the housings go through body/scuttle) are very badly worn has anyone any good ideas how to renovate them, i have tried to get the spindles metal sprayed with no success

A good engineer can make new shafts and weld them into the linkage,also make new bushes i have had this done many times on all older MB models with great success.

Turning the shafts is the easy bit,it is reproducing the splines that hold the wiper arm that is the difficult part

I reproduced them out of highgrade stainless ,then cut the splines on a mill.
