I'll take the white one.  Don't think I have ever seen white/red/black color combo.  If you look closely at the dash pieces, the workmanship is superb, rarely does even the best restoration match this quality.  It really is nice work, thanks for sharing,

The pair of pliers in the tool kit of the red car:
Is it the fuse puller?  :?:
Anyone else have one?

Yes, the small black set of pliers on the right side of the photo of the tool kit, is the later version of the fuse pullers. I have one of the earlier version with the two small bumpers(?) inside the handle. They have shown up on e-bay a couple of times in the last few months, about US$ 75.

Either car is gorgeous, and are presented very nicely in the photographs, but I guess they had better be, for the money he is asking for each.

On one hand inspiring, on the other depressing!

Since my car will never approach such condition, I see my chances of ever "upgrading" to an upper-end condition 113 slipping away...

Yet being one of positive mind -- I hope to just continue enjoying my old buddy -- all the while hoping you folks out there do the same!

This is Brian Peter's (Pagoda Pete) site. The photo is from his shop/showroom in San Diego. He does very nice restoration work (like Ed Cave's outstanding example) and certainly favors the pagoda. I had the pleasure of visiting his location this fall. Guys like this help all of us by showcasing and marketing outstanding vehicles at strong but justified prices which, in turn, increases the value of the rest of our cars, no matter what shape they are in.
