No, nor should anyone, unless they have a medical certificate that confirms they have a fused spine and are unable to actually move their neck to look behind them.

I believe this has been raised before and anyone found with them, has their SL113 membership immediately revoked and a permanent lifetime ban enforced.

Mine does, it's called "Boem is ho" in Dutch or, looseley translated, "Bang means stop"

MP, how did you source and fit these, and how do they notify you that you are close to an object (is there a speaker, is there a screen etc). Looks like an interesting technology update

Hi Andrew, these are normal sensors and work with an increasing bleep, the make is Amio.
Because they are low to the ground  they might  pick up the the road so you have to block a small amount at the bottom of the sensors, this is trial and error.
The camera is something I tried but it's hard to read the distance so I am taking it off.

For fitting you should already have holes in the bottom of the bumpers.

It's not about turning and looking, it's about judging distance.  Some people aren't that great at it anymore after 20+ years of modern cars having sensors.  Another option is to only park where you have plenty of space and wouldn't need a modern sensor.

With the price of chrome work, I'm sure nobody is using that method with their Pagoda.

We bought them to hack them (very simple protocol) and use the ultrasonic distance sensors to detect objects on a rollertrack.

If someone had those rubber bumper overriders on a 280, this would blend pretty seamlessly below them.
