I have just found three OEM VDO 001 545 15 24 Thermo-Time switches, which were also used on many early 60's mechanical fuel injection engine models, have been long since discontinued and are just about impossible to find, either new or used. These are brand new original parts, never installed, not used. All are NOS (New Old Stock). VDO manufactured these for Daimler-Benz. I am the founder and former owner of EUROPARTS of San Diego, which I owned and operated for 37 years before selling the business and retiring in November 2022. Most of my old inventory is long gone but, I still have a few items left in addition to these thermo-Time switches. I have listed specifications for both the 001 545 15 24 and 001 545 92 24 below. These are listed to have been used on the 220SE & 220SEb (M127) and 300SE (M189) so, they can also be used on any of the W113 vehicles. They are dimensionally identical to each other. The only difference that I see is the duration time of actuation. I found info online that these two switches are interchangeable. I have only three of these at $249 EACH.
