Hi guys- I’m working on upgrading a ‘68 280sl I bought last October at Hershey, and I need a few things. First, I need the anodized bracket behind the passenger (US) door panel that the rear armrest screw secures to… my car had a hard pocket door panel for some reason, so I don’t have the necessary bracket. I’ve seen a few on doors being offered for sale, but no sellers will pull the bracket off for a separate sale. I’d be happy with one in any condition since I’m stalled on the passenger door until I find one.
Secondly, I bought a very nice set of all red tail lights, but didn’t realize that they were different than the early style ones on my car. Consequently I can’t use my existing bulb sockets with the newer style lights. If anyone has a late 280sl style set available I’d be happy to buy them. I’ve seen some online but I have a hard time spending a small fortune from one of the expensive guys on eBay when I’m sure there are plenty of them around in the collector circles.
And on the flip side, I’ve got a decent driver quality set of lights & holders that I won’t be using. The top chrome is foggy, but there isn’t really any pitting and the lenses are totally useable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I believe I have the plastic bulb holders, if they are the correct ones you want.  I can probably pull them out on Sunday/Monday and send you pictures.
