For those who want to install a 100% new wiring harness on your loved MB classic, now I am offering the service of fitting/soldering all the terminals on harnesses bought overseas, that always come without connectors and bakelites.
Whoever is interested in such service, contact me through PM Or via email to the address listed for my user at the forum.
Shipping the harness to me via a cargo forwarder taking airfreight takes 1 week and cost 120$.
Returning the finished 100% new wiring harness via DHL to USA cost about 600$.
New harnesses in Europe (SLS SHOP) without any customization with all new cables without terminals, connectors or fuse box cost around 2,200 EUR plus shipping (not cheap).
Buying all new bakelites and terminals from that same store, will account for another 500 EUR minimum (have to make you the list)
1) 12 pin female x3
2) 6 pin female x 6
3) 4 pin female x 6
4) 2 pin female x 7
5) round 8 pin for ignition switch x 1
6) 12 pin male x1
7) 130 female pin terminals
Also if a new main fuse box is desired add 200 eur more.
