sunroof (felt) whiskers on a w111 coupe fit question
« on: June 22, 2016, 18:21:42 »
I am having a issue with installing sunroof wiskers on a w111 coupe.  A friend of mine has three 3.5 coupes all w111 and we removed the sunroof felt (whiskers) from one of them.  We got the replacement part with a w115 number on it but it won't fit and looks too big, We checked on the other coupes but the felt is so old it is beaten down and I can't tell if it was ever bigger.  We have the clips as far back as they will go.  IS THERE A DIFFERENT PART NUMBER FOR THE SUNROOF W111 COUPE 67-71 sunroofs?
Thanks, Bob

I think that 115 part number is for regular bristle rail that you would find on a 113 door glass application. 111 coupe sunroof seal is smaller and not as thick. I'll fairly confident it's not the same part.
