colour decision
« on: April 06, 2024, 19:20:14 »
Hi guys
p
Please could you give me an advice. I am in the process of the full restoration of my 250 sl, Factory paint colour combo 050/050. However I can't decide if I should keep original colour or changing it. I have noticed white colours pagoda don't keep price as well as pagoda with blue paint codes or for instance tobacco brown which I really fancy. What do you think?? Thanks

Your car, your choice of color. I didn't like mine either and painted it in my favorite color. Unless you are restoring it for resale and if done correctly, I wouldn't worry about it. Get some new data plates made so that the tire kickers stay quiet.
Some may argue that it will lower the value, but I believe other things are a lot more important when it comes to that.
Good luck
