W111 280se 6 cyl injection pump rebuild
« on: October 06, 2022, 01:20:05 »
I am in need of a mechanic who can rebuild the injection pump on my 1968 280se coupe. I am in Southern California, and can ship the pump if necessary. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Mine was rebuild at a place in Orange County / CA. The shop is called diesel world and was suggested or better recommended by Metric Motors over others.

Robert Fairchild is the proprietor at Fairchild.  His services are in high demand so patience is the key word for using his services.  But he does excellent work and is open to fueling tweaks.  For instance, if you are using high ethanol infused fuel he will nudge the fueling spec a little extra rich.  For me I can source non-ethanol fuel so he set my MFIP to the specification established by Bosch.
