Seat Belts

Are there shops that repair 60’s era KANGOL and HICKOK Seat Belts?  Just need the nylon fabric replaced.  Thanks, LLLL

I think Snakeoyl (or something like that) will do it.

My upholsterer friend says any capable uph person should be able to do this.  The nylon strapping is readily available.  I've been pondering this also, so I'm interested to hear what others have to say!

If you are just looking to replace the webbing and get the correct stitching required for a safety belt then I can recommend these folks.   I wouldn't expect them to restore the hardware or do anything other than webbing.  Price was very reasonable.  -Mark

I second snake oyl. They will rechrome the nuckels, fabricate new labels…full restoration.
Not cheap though.
