M130.920 intake options
« on: June 04, 2022, 20:56:07 »
Any mechanics know the interchangeability of the inline 6 intakes?

I have a M130.920 I want to add the Holley Sniper EFI to.  Maybe a small turbo as well.  The stock dual carb intake won't work and the other M130 intake with the longer runners will not fit my application (unimog 404).  I found a intake from a W123 chassis, but I'm not familiar with that head.  Attached are pics for reference.

Are there any better options?

Not sure that the spacing is right where it bolts to the heads. Most W123s used a twin cam straight six, quite a bit different than the M130. They used a big Solex 4 barrel carb. It looked a lot like a Rochester 4 barrel.

Gotcha, I may have to send a gasket to them and see if it lines up.

Not sure if you had the M123 engine in the States but an inlet manifold from one of those might help.
