Hello all,

As described above I am looking for the bracket and the fuse box. As best as I can tell, the two legs of the "L" are probably in the range of 90mm - 100mm (that's about 3 1/2" to 4") but since I don't have the bracket that's only a guess. I would also guess that its about 25mm high. Attempt at drawing attached.

I can't find the bracket in any parts books I have and don't see it in Authentic Classics or any of the other usual vendors.

This may be too much info but this bracket attaches to the odd shaped bracket (which I have) that is attached to the top and bottom outboard holes in the brake booster bracket.

Probably easy enough to make, which I may have to do but I also need the fuse box.

Many thanks in advance

The auxilary fuse box in question (used mainly for the fog lamps) is part number A 000 545 99 01 and it is available at Mercedes, but - it will come in black plastic and without the thumb screw - just click on (this is how it is picture on the drawing in the part list, but perhaps the one with thumb screw is more correct). It is similar to one used for the radio fuses. I think Members here may have one at hand, if not, I saw it it some of the internet stores, but in black plastic, I think. Ebay may work as well.

As for the bracket - discussed many times here, which should be helpful. Part number A 113 545 01 40. I would have thought - Members or ebay if you would want to buy.

I am attaching some pictures form previous threads on this topic.

Thank you Pawel,

That is exactly what I need. If no one has an extra laying around the part numbers will be very useful.

You may want to search the forum - perhaps somebody placed dimensions there, I do not remember now...

I found one on ebay and one of the Members had it here, so I bought it from a Member.

You may want to post in "Wanted to Buy".

The bracket you seek is only on the 4 speed car.  The fusebox on an automatic would be mounted directly to the odd shaped bracket you referred to.  I may have a fusebox for you (It might be just a cover) but I am away from home until after the first.

Thanks Pat,

I located the bracket from a supplier and found the correct fuse box in my parts stash. I DO have 4 speed manual shift and appreciate knowing I'm on the right track. May also help someone with an automatic box that may be wondering why the bracket is absent.
