Hi all,

Last week I raised the front of my car (230SL - 64) to do some work on the horns, and it was left like that for a week. I then found that I had a puddle of break fluid under the car and that it was leaking between the master cylinder and the brake booster! I also found that the rear compartment of the plastic brake fluid container was empty. I can't understand how this could happen just by raising the front of the car (only 40cm...). The master cylinder is new (~one year old) and I haven't had any problems with the brakes after that was changed.
I'm about to take it off and also thinking I'd take out the brake booster and make sure that is ok. Anyone had problems with leakage between master cylinder and brake booster? Any advise on removal of the brake booster?

Thanks for help and advise,

It could be leaking around the grommet that's under the back portion of the tank.
