split linkage again
« on: March 01, 2021, 17:55:53 »
After my car 1972 w108 sedan has been running really good thanks to this site all of a sudden today runs bad. When I split the linkage if I open the venturi the rpms really pick up. When I press the injection pump ore the engines dies. I believe that this means I am running too rich is this correct?
Thanks Jim

Improperly adjusted  FIP. Leaky CSV. WRD issues. Leaky fuel injectors. Etc. Do a search on running rich. There is much info on the subject.

Start checking the systems and report back. We can narrow down from there.
