Brake and clutch pedal size
« on: May 19, 2020, 21:33:49 »
Crazy question fellas, but I have a 67 230 sL 4 speed.  I want to replace the brake and clutch pedal covers. I ordered ones from BudzBenz AND MB Classic center.  They both seem too small to fit without heavy modification.

Any thoughts?  Is there a certain size of the pedal that is “standard size” vs maybe a larger replacement size prior to my ownership.  The MB Classic guy assured me that they’d fit, but I’m not able to make it work, and they have that slanted/round rubber backing, which doesn’t help.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

They can be a really tight fit and difficult to put on.  Try using a little lubricant.

Hi guernsey

Have you tried to put them in Hot Water for a while, makes them softer and easier to fit.

Keep well
