Sold-1967 250SL For Sale
« on: October 26, 2019, 04:02:31 »
Unfortunately, I'm selling my Pagoda.  I now have a wife and a 10 month old and there is not enough time in the week to drive it.  Plus, my wife won't let me put an infant seat in it.

I have owned it for 4.5 years and have records going back 20 years. It is a Euro model with manual transmission and it currently has 53,000 km.  I'm assuming the odometer has gone around at least once.

The car has spent at least the last 20 years in California other than the last year in Oregon.  The car is currently in Los Angeles.

It is a great driver and runs very well.  A few years ago I drove it from Los Angeles to San Francisco with no problems.  Never left me stranded in the last 4.5 years (knock on wood) and the car is ready to be driven immediately.

It has the hard top and a new soft top (installed in 2015).  New interior kit was installed around 10 years ago and is still in great shape.  The exterior is also in great shape.

The previous owner painted it the current green which I believe is not an original 113 color but he said was an R107 color he liked.  It was originally dark blue.

Highlights of work done in the last 4.5 years:

2015
-New soft top.
-New headliner for the hardtop
-Installed a Becker Europa.  Includes Ipod input.
-Replaced subframe
-Replaced brake booster/master cylinder
-New blower motor and assembly
-New heater control valve
-Installed pointless ignition
-Timevalve stainless exhaust installed
-4 new Tiger Paw tires
-New battery
-Creatively placed kill switch...
-Lots more work done as shown in the records.

2017
- New fuel pump
- Fuel tank cleaned

2019
- Replaced brake calipers
- Replaced fan clutch
- Replaced tie rod assembly and drag link

The car is currently in Los Angeles and I have the blue California plates for it.

More pictures, information and video upon request.  I have lots of manuals in addition to the rings for the rims.  I also have a tool kit that I bought from another 250 owner.

$45,000.

Can't thank the members here enough.  I asked only a few questions over the years and got great responses but I spent so much time searching the forums and finding answers to all of my other questions which made owning my SL that much more enjoyable.
