spark plug wire guide tube question
« on: May 27, 2019, 17:02:48 »
hello
this may be a 2 part question

I purchased a spark plug wire guide tube bracket for my car,  the wires run inside the tube and then come out the bottom  see photo

question is should i be able to run the wires in the tube with out removing the ends.  I am talking about the 90 deg end that plugs into the distributor cap

if not,  how can i remove an end of the spark plug wire to be able to run the wire in the tube and then re connect the end.

i may be over cautious here.

thanks in advance matt

Hi Matt,
I think you should not have the plug leads with 90 degree ends if your car uses this kind of guide.
I recently fitted new plug leads with straight ends and they were simple to push through.

One or both ends should unscrew.
