Tupelo Mississippi Automobile Museum
« on: February 19, 2019, 04:53:18 »
Last Saturday we joined the local Packard club for a day in Tupelo, MS.  Tupelo is perhaps best known as the birthplace of Elvis Presley and we did make a short stop there to pay homage.  The main attraction for us was to visit the soon to be closed Tupelo Automobile Museum.

Unfortunately the museum will be closing at the end of next month followed in late April by an auction of all the cars.  The Frank K. Spain collection of 187 cars is arranged in chronological order starting with an 1886 Benz an also includes a 190SL Roadster and a R107.

If you are in the Southeast USA before the end of march it is worth a visit.  For more information see here:
