Wiper Arm - Weak Spring
« on: February 15, 2019, 23:36:04 »
One of my wiper arms is not completely clearing the windshield of rain.  It looks like the spring has weakened over the years.  Are replacement springs available or is a full arm replacement required?  How should these be sourced?

I don't drive the car in the rain very much but I would like the arms to function as intended.

Thanks for any advice.

You can try A 000 824 01 35 at MB.
I am not sure if available, I do not see availability coding for some time...

Hi, Pawel.

Thanks for your input on this.  I did find out from the Classics Center that the wiper arms are NLA.  SLS does have replacement arms.  While their parts diagram shows the spring as a distinct part, it is not available by itself from what I could see.

The PN I posted is for spring, not for an arm. I do not know if they are available, but you may ask.

You can also ask these guys: https://www.niemoeller.de/en/w113/w113/B044/821/d82188-zugfeder

They say they have it available on request.
