Project on Bring a Trailer - 400ci Pagoda

Looks like a cool project on Bring a trailer this morning.   It comes with the original engine on a pallet and a Chevy 400ci motor installed so you can still drive around while you fix up the original engine.   A modern MB engine would be cool as well to install.

I would expect something like that to be rather dangerous to drive being as it would be very front end heavy and far too much torque for the rear of the car. Our cars already suffer from that but the power ratio isn't so high that they will easily get away from you.

I also expect that some serious modifications had to be made. Might make a decent parts car........

Looks like a very big rust nightmare to me.

Agreed, it looks rusty and body needs restoration. I would buy it and switch the motor back if the body was more to my liking.

I've seen a lot worse. I reckon at 15K it would be a bargain. Any more and you'd start to question the sanity.
