Unknown Hardware
« on: January 12, 2020, 04:53:37 »
I can use some help from someone that knows every nut and bolt on these cars.  I found two threaded flange type nuts on the carpet under the passenger seat.  Does anyone know what these go to?   It's an early 1968 US 250SL with air.  I think everything on the dash is there and in place.  Maybe something to do with the seats?  Thanks.

Some size info would help. Looking at the shape only, the pieces look like the bases for the rocker arm ball studs. How they would end up under the seats...no idea..

It's definitely a fine thread.  Appears to be M9-1.0.   Thanks!

I guessing it's and interior part since the dash was totally taken apart when I bought the car.

Doesn't appear to be seatbelt related.

I just put the factory radio back in.  They may have gone to the aftermarket radio the previous owner had in, but I don't have the radio to verify.   I'll just hold on to them.  Thanks for all the good ideas.
