« on: November 12, 2018, 11:31:06 »
Only about 4 months ago we sold our 1984 Porsche 911 Carerra 3.2,only 44000 miles, absolute
bone stock, black \black ex CA,.
Wife was never happy driving it being left hand drive, 5 sp stick-----so was sold
and replaced with  1965  Mercedes  230SL pagoda , automatic, she is very happy now,
and the Porsche being in concours condition, and the pagoda needing  a few jobs to do,
gives me  something to do,and i love doing  so much.

Air-cooled Porsches have not reached the price pinnacle yet. They are still going up. If I may ask, what did you get in AUS for your 84.
We have a 1986 Carrera 3.2 with the M491 option for sale right now...I am not really sure how to price it.

Mike, check out Hagerty car value, it might help you decide on an asking price.

Hello Mike and Rolf, sorry its the time  gap here in Aus, yes purchased the 911 about 4 years ago
$33000  us dollars, sold here $67000 Ausy dollars.
Being left hand drive here is probably  about  20-30% less than right hand drive,
have owned four 911s over the years,.
One we should never have sold was a 1972, purchased in Davis CA,where we lived at the time,  1992 for $5000,
sold in NewZealand $25000 NZ dollars, you know what they are worth now, regards Wayne.
