At Speed on the Barber Track
« on: March 13, 2018, 03:07:02 »
Many of our USA members are MBCA members and will have received the March-April edition of The Star in the last few days.  In President Gene Jurick's "At the Wheel" column on Page 8 you will see a picture of my Pagoda at speed on the track at Barber Motorsports Park.

A copy of the picture is attached below.

Oz, there was a  Cars & Cocoa event at Barber on January 6 in connection with the Drive Home III caravan sponsored by the LeMay Museum.  See here:

We did about half a dozen laps at relatively safe highway speeds. If you zoom in you can see Flora's white AMG cap! I was driving.  There were about 25 cars on track, no passing allowed.

The picture was taken by Dr. Jim Roberts who was behind me on the track in his 116. A cold but fun afternoon!

Way cool, Ralph!  I saw the photo in The Star but didn't know it was you - I'll be sure to show it to Lucy this evening.  Say "Hi!" to Flora from both of us!

Maybe we should start a Pagodas at the track thread?
