55 Amp Alternator Connection?

I bought the 55amp alternator from Buds and aside from the fact that they sent me the wrong connector typ to plug into it, I am wondering whether I need to bring over my old capacitor from the old alternator. And if so, where and how to connect it, since the new one doesn't have the same post at B+ that the old one had.
