230SL Christmas Display

I was invited by the Tucson Arizona Mercedes dealership to display my 1966 230SL for Christmas.
It was an instant hit!
Many visitors admired it, and specially the dealership staff.
I feel honored and proud.

Very, very nice!

With it being in the dealer's showroom, did the car get many offers?!

Many offers.
A sales person told me that on Christmas day, a couple arrived to the dealership.
The husband had promised his wife he would buy any car she liked.
After browsing much of the inventory, she picked the  old Mercedes pagoda!
Then the sales person had to tell her that unfortunately; that particular car, wasn’t for sale.
