Defroster Vent ducts
« on: June 23, 2015, 10:56:19 »
Hi, does anyone know if the cardboard defroster vents/ducts inside the dashboard are the same for LHD and RHD cars?

I have a friend with a RHD car in need of replacements. I have verified that K&K remake them in plastic which is fine, but I just wish to verify the handing compatibility before making the purchase as they are quite expense. I have read on other posts that they don't come fitted with the base brackets which is OK as we can recover them from his original ones.

Thanks in advance.

Probably want to wait for others to chime in, but my book shows only one number for each, which sounds like it might be good news . ..

Thanks John,

That is promising but I'm still skeptical as they are quite a complex shape and different shape from each other - one needs to maneuver around the steering column, etc.

To my thinking they would need to be a mirror image. (LHD to RHD)

Might need to take a gamble and risk return shipment costs.
