oil pump specifications

I've recently pulled out my engine from the coupe and have slowly dismantled. It was tired with some broken rings and worn bearings. I'm slowly gathering all the bits to put it back together again, but I'm trying to find specifications for the oil pump, namely, the allowable clearance between the oil pump gear teeth before it becomes serviceable. I'm not opposed to buying a new one, but these are $1000 aussie peso's and I will happily avoid the expense if it's possible.

I have the BBB but I can't see a spec for the pump in it.
