What clutch fluid do I put in a 1964 230 SL manual transmission

I replaced both master and slave cylinder and the hose last year and I used synthetic brake fluid.
However, if you just want to top it off you should use the same fluid which is in there.
If you flush it completely I recommend the synthetic fluid, since it does not pick up moisture.
